Description
Inspired by 's Kaiserverse Canon Changes, took me a bit of trial and error with this team, especially with those helmets, but hopefully I did my best with it. Also, as you may have noticed, I took a page out of Lightspeed's Sentai counterpart and included the one shot Demon Hunter, or Huntress as one can see here, and made her an extra member of the team.

Canon Changes

Honestly, there really isn't much in terms of canon changes. While there are SOME, there are some significant plot details that would change how the latter seasons would play out.

1. Due to the past events of before, the governments of Earth were starting to become biased of human gaining powers of alien origin, and not helping matters were the fact that some of them, and even a whole team, were alien origin AND the fact that their identities as teenagers were secretive. Many tech companies and scientific organizations were trying to re-create the ranger tech and powers, but to no avail, as they usually ended in failure... sometimes to disastrous results.

2. Just prior to it all, a long time ago, former fire captain, William Mitchell, who was thought to have gone crazy after the "death" of his son Ryan, had gone to one company and had asked to help create weaponry to fight off against an army of demons that were about to be revive in modern time. To his, and the board of director's surprise, the CEO approved of the creation of such weaponry and funded a project called "Lightspeed" with Mitchell serving as the commanding officer to the project.

3. Now a year since the "Prometha" project went underway, the CEO gave the newly appointed chief scientist, Dr. Angela Fairweather, a disc that would prove useful in creating the new weaponry and machinery that were needed to not only battle the demons but, with the order to utilize special individuals, in rescue operations. This disc contained the access to the source of the ranger tech other companies and governments have been trying to create, the Morphing Grid, and with it, the tech was ready. Only thing left is to find its rangers. Dana Mitchell, Captain William's daughter, was chosen to be one of the rangers, while the other 4 were chosen specifically; Fireman Carter Grayson, U.S. Coast Guard Rescue Swimmer Chad Lee, former extreme sports athlete and Police Officer Kelsey Winslow, and former Air Force now stunt pilot Joel Rawlings, to become the Lightspeed Power Rangers.

4. Pretty much after that, the plot remains the same as the show, including the inclusion of Ryan Mitchell as the Titanium Ranger, although unlike the show, he doesn't leave the team for a long while and stays with them for the majority of the run.

5. As for the inclusion of the Beast-Demon Huntress, it'll be some what of an adaptation of GoGoV's movie, with Astronaut Nancy Cooper, who is a major character in this series, to take on the powers after the original was killed in action. And she keeps these powers for good.

6. There is still a team up with the Lost Galaxy rangers, all 8 of them, involving the revival of Trakeena through the magic of the demons so that much still happens of course... minus the plot involving a little girl being a general focus.
