Daniel Browning Smith (a.k.a. Rubberboy) was the Most Flexible Man in 2007′s Guiness Book of World Records and played a serial killer in an episode of CSI, along with other bits of acting and stunt-work. Apparently he has Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, which weakens collagen, making it more elastic. Basically, this means flexible joints and stretchy skin. There’s a lot of less nice symptoms to it (mental and physical problems), but Smith seems to have made himself a pretty good career out of it. I really dig it when people with these rare physical conditions take up acting, because they can provide performances and appearances that are impossible for ordinary actors to do without heaps of CGI and other trickery.
