Description Back to the basics, but with more additional colour.
Based on the many things that I under went while dreaming in the course of several weeks.
The accomplishments paved on very clearly and the drawing itself went on for a good amount of days.

Just the kinda abstract I like...kinda like something I do when I doodle but you take yours further. Nice!

How do you do the color?

Thanks!
The colour is planned before hand, I doodle the piece first, then do the scanning process afterwards. I have a surge of ideas when the piece is over-viewed. I'm doing something like that right now, but I will have to use a much larger scanner.
Much appreciate your fave

Nearly done, I just have to map out the colour.
I'm very happy with what I got so far

It's nice but I'm not really diggin the grey colors up top. They don't seem to go with the scheme you present. The dulled-down yellow isn't working well with the rest of the colors. Also, I think it would look better if this piece was horizontal. Just becuase your sketchbook haslong, tall pages, doesn't mean you HAVE to make all your pieces vertical.

Yeah, it was pretty much was I saw at the moment of colouration <--- not a word) but I seen this landscape of Marshland for some odd case.
Also about the Vertical piece, Idk for me that's what I had in mind when I was first lining it.

I understand your reasoning behind the vertical view, but when one finishes an abstraction, he/she must consider the best view for the piece, despite initial plans. Also, when I was going through the rest of your works I noticed the excerpts from your story (the Lampshade one) and I couldn't help but be bothered from all the "I seen...".
"I seen" is a very gramatically incorrect way of saying "I saw" or "I had/have seen."
Although it does not concern art, I just thought I'd throw it in there.

For me, I let the art speak for itself and as for the mini-stories, I'm usually less concerned about grammatical errors during the process of submitting a deviation.
I guess, all artist put their own creative or should I say their own touch to their artwork.
That's just me.

I'm not bashing your stories, or even less suggesting you not write them under each deviation; I am merely informing you of the mistake so you won't make it in the future.
So if there's one thing you learned from me in this whole one-on-one, it's: presentation is as important as creation.

Oh yes man, I know your not bashing on my stories or anything.
It's fine, I don't mind about corrections but it's just the way I work things at times, and when I work it's usually early morning hours so I tend to forget about the corrections.

Thanks alot man, I hope people have an interest in purchasing this piece.
I wanted to make a shirt out of this but I was thinking more of a art piece instead of a tee-shirt.
Thanks for the comment though man, I really appreciate your support.

Thanks alot for the video link I too am a big fan of Brian Eno's Ambient soundscape machine, though most of his work is very laid back type music.
But thanks for the vid.
Very calming to the evening.

so its a collection of dreams is it? what kind of dreams?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

exoartificial In reply to Miss-Person [2008-01-08 04:39:47 +0000 UTC]

I merely dream about the wonders of landscapes and having a abstract shape when I walk.
It's usually about the space between what the music outside provides and when the creative inside mashes these things into one piece.

In a way I let my mind flow ( This is around 3-6 am )
That's when my ideas are high in the sky.

Yeah, while I was painting this piece I was listening to the album LOVE by The Beatles, it made painting this selection a very interesting outlook on what it was going to lead to.

haha awww!!!! i love the beatles. did you see the movie across the universe? because that was a lovely done movie. i usually listen to wacked out instrumental when i do my artwork

exoartificial In reply to Miss-Person [2008-01-08 04:52:51 +0000 UTC]

Ah yes (Across the Universe), I didn't see the movie but I seen the trailer to et.
From what I hear everything that movie was about was all Beatles, in which is pretty awesome considering the fact that the movie nailed the visual element of each individual track.

But I have seen (Yellow Submarine)

Miss-Person In reply to exoartificial [2008-01-08 04:56:15 +0000 UTC]

yeah they did a very good job of depicting the songs. i haven't seen yellow submarine or any of the beatles movies unfortunately. i should hop on that. *raids blockbuster*

exoartificial In reply to Miss-Person [2008-01-08 05:10:04 +0000 UTC]

Go for the whole Blockbuster Beatles movie raiding.
Or any movie like ( The Science of Sleep )

Yeah, but any music does inspire a vibrant piece.
AT the moment I'm doing a shirt design.

Which has a Window with some Window Blinds.
