Is there a way to change the color of the bar from grey to other colors? can I do it myself, don't really wanna bother you with it.

no change codes.
only change color Main.png

for example, you want to blue bar.
you change color for Main.png X:10 Y:10

So I found that you needed to unzip the file, after I've edited everything and renamed the entire thing back to .dsf on 7zip

it just goes back to the default potplayer skin when i select it

I got it working but only as a folder

I tried.

zip rename to dsf, succeed
7z rename to dsf, failed
rar rename to dsf, failed

only zip
