Description
It s been a while since I was last drew stuff. And it had probably been even longer when I last drew Spyro. So I decided to draw a little speedpaint (took around 2 hours I guess.) The last time I drew the dawn of the dragon-Spyro was in summer 2012 (want to have a look? Be warned XD !I tried a few new techniques I learned at the con and I have to say, they work quite fine! Especially when working lineless^^! - Also, may add a background later!

Awesome piece, but I can't see the speed paint. I would really like to.

just like Pedram, who wanted to see if he can write simple code, and wrote the Stonehenge!

quite so! his program has saved many users from total exploitation. including a user he keeps calling "HER" (although her gender is my assumption due to the way he speaks of said individual, we do not stress gender in our language, everything is "it"). according to him, in their faculty's hacking classes, they use that user's page as dummy.

I think he has mixed feelings about her. As far as I know, he got into some type of argument with her once and now the mood is kinda frosty.

a frosty Pedram sent five people to their graves, that's what worries me.

Hm, I think he still has some sort of respect for her. That s what may save her? As far as I know, his Stonehenge is already locked on her system (I may not be completely innocent about this...)

he respects all his adversaries, enemies and friends alike. if the Stonehenge is locked on her system, he can monitor every single action she performs on her computer. her privacy is but a fairy tale by now. if Pedram hates her, she is doomed (not one person has survived Pedram's wrath). if, on the other hand, he respects her as an individual rather than a foe, she will only lose her privacy.
what exactly did you do?

Hm, I guess it s not hate so far - From what I can tell! As said, I only heard some stories about this but never got a real "official statement" from both sides.
Oh, I m notorious for giving shitty advice: He told me about those hackers at university and that they used her page for their "practice" and asked me what he should do about it. I ve listed a bunch of options he would have: 1. warn her 2. talk to the people at university adn as 3. Take matters into own hand: Useing his little prgrams as some sort of "bomb-shield" - Sure, this is the computer-equivalent of playing god.
I usually only list options because I m not good at giving a precise command to what one should do.

what answers did you receive from her? I'm aware of my business' limits, but if Pedram hates her, he can send her to jail regardless of the country she lives in.
I remember he asked me for advice, I told him to warn her, and I know he blackmailed several people scaring them off, but his third step was a rather peculiar one, considering the circumstances and his rather passive nature.

From her? None! She doesn t really talk to people she doesn t know. And I m not planning on spending half a year butt-kissing only to get a statement.
Yeah, I know. That s what I ve meant with "shitty advice"

she did not? oh the arrogance! if she found out what Pedram's done to her, she would probably lose her nerves, I highly doubt she can get anywhere against a formidable foe as Pedram though.
did he say he had locked on her computer? or did he say he was running an instance of the program on her computer?

Hm, I m not sure about this. Most people here don t really believe that some random dude could easily hack them.
Whoa, I don t really remember the exact words. But I think he said he had locked on.

Guidifier In reply to ExplodedPineapple [2014-11-16 10:19:35 +0000 UTC]
oh? whom do they think write their anti-virus programs? that "random dude" with a few of his friends, hacked twitter in less than one minute, and kept it hacked for as long as they needed.
if he said he's locked on her system, she's in trouble. imagine the ever so kind American police pointing a gun at a hostage, that's the user right now.

that's Pedo alright, "shoot before you think, regret later"!
the user is in serious trouble should she try to pick a fight with Pedo then. if he activates his program, he's going to ruin somebody's day.

ExplodedPineapple In reply to Guidifier [2014-11-22 14:21:17 +0000 UTC]

Pedo is a lot of things, but he's not a liar. if he said he does not plan to use it, there's little chance that he'll hack her.
by the way, who is this stricken user anyway? Pedo ceases to tell me, and I cannot figure it out on my own.

I can t send you a link (you get a notification if your name is linked within some comment around DA) But her name is "Seeraphine" - You can enter this in the DA-search and the first result is a picture drawn by her.

Guidifier In reply to ExplodedPineapple [2014-11-23 16:46:44 +0000 UTC]
Seeraphine? I know that user, we borrowed many designs from her. the ticklish fact is, Pedo was the only one of the vultures who cared about her participation in our project. the rest of us did not trust her. we wanted to steal her work as our own, our sole obstacle was Pedo, who threatened to leave if we were to leave out her name, we could not have that as the smell of money was sweet (do you realize now, why they call us "vultures"?)
but Pedo does have a point, her page is highly unsecure. I believe they use it as the simplest form of secure page in CEH classes, at least, in our math faculty.

Oh yeah! That s the one! I m no big fan of her either and to some points, I don t really understand why Pedi works so hard to keep a person safe that has been (sorry, I m swearing again) such a bitch to him lately (but as mentioned: I only know his part of the story!)

Guidifier In reply to ExplodedPineapple [2014-11-26 05:26:21 +0000 UTC]
not to mention that he's blockaded her computer from the rest of the world, making it much safer.
but doesn't it strike you as odd that she's not exactly friendly towards Pedo, and yet he tries to protect her? perhaps Pedo has wronged her, while we think otherwise.
though, I can think of several reasons why he would take such extreme measures, which I'll list below.
1- initially, she assisted our group with the project. in Pedo's mind, she deserves respect for that.
2- he gets to understand the strengths and weaknesses of his precious Stonehenge.
3- it's his show of power vs. what we can do. he's testing our patience, and our capabilities.
4- as said, I believe he's wronged her regardless of what he says. perhaps he's trying to make amends for his doings.
5- the two were once close. perhaps Pedo doesn't want to rip all ties to his past.
but let the duo struggle. if I know her, I find it doubtful that she will heed Pedo's warnings, and will eventually snap. should Pedo realize she's not going to forgive him, he will forget about protecting her. and the moment he does so, she can start looking for a new computer, for the vultures will be chewing on the bones of her previous one.

however, it hurts me to see how Pedo's pouring his heart into protecting a person who doesn't even know it, and thus won't admire his dedication.

Hm, I guess you re right about this. But what are our options? Sure, we could tell her, but I doubt she would listen. And on the other hand: I highly doubt this will change things to the better.

Guidifier In reply to ExplodedPineapple [2014-11-26 21:28:49 +0000 UTC]
warning her would not help for she's not the trusting type. provided that she believes us, a fight will break out between the two, resulting in both sides infuriated, making Pedo forget about protecting her, leaving her completely at our mercy, mercy that she will never see. however, knowing Pedo, he has probably told her already.
