My newest artwork, this is based on a song I wrote called 'Like Oxygen'. It's a Christian-based song, and I was inspired to draw something to go with it. I wish I could post the lyrics to my song for you to see, but I want to keep it private ^^this must have taken me at least 8 hours to do on photoshop, using mostly a mouse. The hair, the lace, and underwater bg took me the most to do.
I would really appreciate it if you would fullview, you can see the detail I put into it, and the quality is better :3
Edit: Wow, thanks SO much guys for all of the faves, it means a lot that something that came from what I was feeling at the moment turned out to be pleasing to other people x3
I touched up just a couple of minor things and resubmitted this deviation, just to let you know ^^ I want my picture to be worth the faves it has =]

thanks! I started with a lot of hard brush strokes, then added a layer on top with a light softer brush and adjusted the layer transparency. it took me a lot of experimenting to get it to where I liked it. ^^
