Description
This is what I forgot to bring to my photo class for the critique on Friday -facedesk-But anyway. The topic/theme was ant's view. I was mostly just playing around with depth of field (and enjoying the rainy day which we so rarely get in Vegas) and I'm a dork and I've always liked how my red shoes stand out on overcast days XD
They say that overcast is a very bad kind of light for photography, but when you grow up in a place so sunny it's sickening, you have a completely different opinion...
What I want to know, though, is which one of these should I turn in? I like both of them...
Thanks!
Edit: Why, DA? Why do you never let me upload .png's with transparent backgrounds anymore?

I like the one on the right better, however the one on the left looks slightly... fish-eyed/distorted, which is probably more like what bugs actually see. TURN THEM BOTH IN. xD

I like the shoe of the first one, but the background of the second one better, the shoe is out of focus in the 2nd. I don't know what you're trying to emphasize, but I'd probably go with the first one just is a bit better.

The shoe is out of focus in both of them. And I don't know what I was really going for, I was just taking photos that looked cool XD;
Thanks!

Nikons that aren't point-and-shoots are the best that you can get : D

I have a few inherited Nikons, but they're so complicated and I'm too lazy to sit down and learn how to use them >.>;; XD I had a Nikon point-and-shoot before this one though, and it didn't really do very much. It was annoying. I think it was a CoolPix. Yeck.

Yeah, the first one has that line of light leading to it, but the second one has a bit of a light halo around it...I don't know either XD
Thanks though!

It's a Kodak EasyShare V530. It's nice for a point-and-shoot c:
Thanks!
