XD weird title, I know.yeah...eggs. That was the assignment, to draw eggs....and I'm actually pretty proud of this so I thought I'd upload it
I was trying to make it seem kinda like there are two eggs leaning together, and one kinda lookin' at them from further away...it means whatever you think it means. It's hard to show emotion with eggs.media: ebony pencil (graphite...right? I don't know)
time: about 3 1/2 hours
so yeah, this was practice, really...this is a considerable improvement over how well I could shade before. It is kinda sketchy scratchy lookin', but that's only because of the stupid scanner....it doesn't look nearly as good on the computer as in real life >.< No photoshopping was done on it except for fixing the yellowish color it had from scanning and resizing.
I know it's boring, but whatever, I like it. I SHADED SOMETHING!! YAY!!
Go ahead and critique it all ya want, it's gonna be critiqued all to hell on Monday anyway, and I already turned it in so I can't really fix it.

I dont think it's boring at all. I do this same excersize at least once a month, for general shading practice and for rendering whites practice.
Shading, was done very well.
I feel for you on the scanner issue...all my CP and graphite work comes out scratchy looking, and I have no clue as to how to make it not happen.
You also did a great job on the cloth.

I really like the blankie!!! but one of the eggs is smaller than the other, was it like that in real-life? anyways, i really wish that i was atmy moms house so i could use AIM. there's lots of stuff to talk about, but most is random and not important. There is one thing i wanna say, but i'll send you a note. (it is already weird enough that i am talking about all this on a comment

yeah, my mom got these weird health eggs, and I noticed that as I was drawing them. The eggs were all shaped differently. One was bigger than the other two, one was all long and oval-ish, and one looked normal. So yeah, that is how it looked in real life O.o heh, and I actually used a shirt, I didn't have any white blankets and colors distract me XD
