OMG. I don't know if it's only for the beta testers or what, but I LOVE THE NEW UPLOAD SYSTEM.
So much easier. GOOD JOB DA!! 
Anyway. It's time for more journal entry thingies for art class!! This time we had to do two journals based on a Salvador Dali quote: "You have to systematically create confusion, it sets creativity free. Everything that is contradictory creates life."
Soooo....yeah, this is my second page. Not only is the first *way* better, but this also looks even MORE like crap scanned. Anything not done on the computer just looks so much better in real life
But anyway. Not much of an explanation for this one really...I just kinda...did it. No idea why or where it came from. But I do know that the blue was supposed to look like when you stay up on the computer really late and it's all dark except for the blue light coming from the computer screen...other than that, no, I don't know why the tree/plant thing is growing out of a keyboard or whatever.media: Kinda obvious...watercolor background, prisma pencils, pen, and a couple of leaves stolen off of a fake house plant. Shhh.
I know this one sucks, so...no tough crits please XD *THE FIRST PAGE IS MUCH BETTER*

I have a theory to why the tree is growing out of the keyboard. Because sometimes you spend so much time in front of the computer that you take root.

XD I like it. It's like... different. Different, but really cool. Don't take this wrong... but your tree kind of inflates at the very top. It's not like it's a major flaw or whatever, I just thought it was funny.
First thing to run through my head: "OMG THE TREE NEEDS TO LOSE SOME WEIGHT AROUND THE HIPS!"

LOL. It's called 'foreshortening'. I made the tree bigger toward the top to make it look like the top is closer to you than the bottom. Yeah, obviously I still suck at that.
Different....meh. I guess. I could think up lots more interesting 'different' stuff if I wanted...and I do, quite a lot. I just get images in my head that are so specific that I'd have no idea how to draw them, most of the time. I could have come up with something much better for this thing x.x

I get lots of ideas all the time, too, despite how much I suck. Like this classic moment that I would TOTALLY do that popped into my head one random Drawing class...

It's always so much funnier when the images are dancing through my head in little chibi styles... Anyway, I still like it. It shows a lot of vivid creativity and other artisticky things that I can't conjure words for.

the kind of stuff I come up with is like...deep stuff. I get the images in my head, all shaded and perfect....ugh. I just can't draw it.

Oh... well... mine are mostly never deep. XD Just random little sketches that would look REALLY stupid if I ever attempted 'em. MEH... and then they never are as good when I write 'em out since they're just... well... dumb... MERGH. XP It's probably a lot tougher for you, though, I know. I mean... you freaking draw all the time.
