Download for larger view...us usualSomething different. I don't know if it was just random, or if it came from me being miserable most of this week. But this was really frustrating to work on >.< THE CAST SHADOWS. They were annoying.
This whole thing looks really messy. And I don't particularly like the way it's cropped. But, I had to, because that's all I drew, but I wanted to include that tree in there so...yeah
I like the color scheme though. It's different. And it's got that kinda uneasy feel to it, yeah?tree brushes from [link] I did do the shading on them, though.

It looks messy, but that adds to the effect.
I mean, it seems to me like it'd be some sort of haunted and/or creepy forest, and so hte disarray of it all really does make sense.

I kinda feel like it would be one of those places that would only harm you if you fear it. However, if you're already unhappy, it'll only make your misery worse. I also think it would be that sickly sort of hot there, too...the kind that is hot and humid and makes you feel sick

If it was dark and creepy like this, it'd probably feed off of fear or worry and get even darker and creepier, the more fear it gets. Or... something like that. xD

Wow, This looks kinda like a burnt section of wood I found myself in when I was camping in Utah. I was trying to find a bathroom, too! It really freaked me out. The mountains were slightly different, though. The grass was almost exactly the same.
It's sorta freaky, but I like it.

It's not burnt...just dead. And yeah...the mountains were half-assed.

dude, I watched 30 seconds of THE RING, and I had nightmares for months. I watched a commercial for THE MESSANGERS and I've had nightmares ever since. I'M A WIMP!

I actually really like this. The trees are very well done; though the mountains could use some work. xD I think I like it so much because it reminds me of the elephant graveyard on The Lion King. =3

Eh, the mountains don't bother me...usually I don't like putting mountains in the backgrounds of my pictures, so I pretty much just half-assed them.

eh...I don't like my expressive work critiqued...and I've been in a REALLY bad mood all day, so I've been snapping at people. It's one of those days where I feel like everyone and everything is pissing me off >.< It wasn't the crit, though, I know I half-assed the mountains. I've just got this thing lately where I feel like hardly anyone can understand what feelings went into my artwork. I could draw a picture of something spraying out blood from the chest and people will go "COOL!" when it's really supposed to represent pain or whatever, and they don't see that. My artwork usually has a lot of feelings put into it, and I guess I feel a little insulted when people don't see that.

It's really good. It's able to well in my opnion make me feel sad, lonely, and a place where you feel theres nothing left to live, but just wilt and die.
