My fanart of Spider Gwen!
The pose itself was a challenge, i wanted something dynamic! There was also the skin-tightness which wasn't something i'm used to.
I feel like this was good practice

You're welcome. It is hard, with this character in particular, and really any character that wears one of those skin-tight, wetsuit-like costumes....it puts pressure on the artist to get the anatomy right because all the contours, volume, and shape show.
I drew Gwen recently myself for the first time, and while I feel ok about it, I couldn't decide what to do about the pose, so I went with something less ambitious. lol Next time, I want to do something more like this; an action pose.

Yeah i had trouble figuring out the pose myself, I drew a lot of different ones but i really wanted it to be dynamic.
And it's exactly as you said, not only is it an intense pose, but with the skin tight suit, it puts even more pressure! I actually started over the whole abdomen area at one point.
I saw your Gwen too, it's not bad at all! Even if it's not an action pose, it doesn't feel stiff either!

Yeah, the abdomen seemed the most difficult part of your picture; it's elongated, so you have to understand how muscles behave, and if you don't...then...as Charlie Brown would say: "AAAAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHH!"

Beautiful work on the gal that got me into comics! Love her series and character. Love that you went for dynamic which i feel fits better than a basic pose plus your coloring and shading is fantastic here and great work on the perception, detail, and look of her blue webs! Well done!

I'm glad you like it! It really wasn't an easy pose to draw, i had done a lot of sketches of different poses because i really wanted something dynamic. When i think of Spider Man or Spider Gwen, they're immediately associated with really dynamic and intense poses in my mind.
