Size: 460mm x 610mm (18" x 24") Heavy duty canvas
Layers: 8 (4 for the head section and 4 for the jacket)
Colours: 7 + Background freestyle

The source photo is from the new promo photos released for the upcoming "The Cool" album (See here) . I wanted to use this photo simply for the lighting the jacket emitted it really interested me and I wanted to set myself a new challenge of stenciling clothing like this. I even used a silver chrome paint for an added effect.

This time around I tried a few different backgrounds including mixed media with acrylics but I was left unsatisfied and just couldnt get the effect I wanted so I darkened the backgrounds up considerably for this overall dark effect. I have now learnt backgrounds are an unappreciated art and will be spending more time on perfecting the right one in my next stencil!
