Description
acrylic and fabric on wood.the project's goal was to successfully match colors and design with the fabric strips, so that it's hard to see (from a few feet away) where the fabric ends and paint begins. we also had to alter the pattern or break it up with some sort of painting or deisgn. i chose to draw my friends, sam and mike.
left them fairly blank for contrast and the knots in the wood.

I all your new stuff, but, damn, this takes the cake! The knot in the wood just below the guy's face . . . almost seems like it belongs there.

That's a pretty cool project concept. I didn't have to do anything nearly that interesting in the beginning design course I had to take at my new school. XP

haha what? i'm on good terms with it. i suck so bad at color, all those hours just matching one tiny shade of pink and finally getting it, it was a nice thing.

i can't tell what's paint and what is fabric. it's all very congruous. i LOVE the way those gorgeous sketches pop of the details of the print.
