Description
A gathering of the most troublesome of the enemies the Animorphs have had to face. From the top: Crayak (the supreme evil power of the universe), Visser Three (the only Andalite-controller), Visser One (formally Marco's mother, Eva), Tom (formally Jake's brother), David (rogue Animorph/rat boy), and The Drode (servant of Crayak and slimy git)
Oh, by the way, Crayak is watching you... he knows your name...! AHHHHHHH!!!!

Hmm, not sure how far you have read in the series yet... but the fates of all these three are answered or at least David's is heavily implied.

I just figured that someone was a Yewrk controller they'd be so crazy that they'd be foaming at the mouth.

To this day, this is still the best art of the Drode out there. I use this artwork of him whenever I do a YouTube video where I read his lines (and I credit you, of course!). The Drode is one of my favorite voices I can do, along with Bullwinkle, Mr. Burns, The Comic Book Guy, narrator, announcer, Wario, and a host of others.

This is probably the last video I'll do where I perform Drode lines, at least canon ones. This video has me (voice) acting out segments from Megamorphs 4: [link]

I think I've said this before but your Drode voice is very accurate to how I imagine it when I'm reading the books!
Great use of the pictures too!

You drew the Drode just perfectly. He was always a little hard for me to imagine as a kid. I'm sure he would look really cool if Animorphs were ever made into a big live action movie, but your art of him is just spot on. You did an amazing job with all of them though!

I used this image for both Crayak and the Drode in my latest YouTube video, where I read from book 27. [link] Thank you for having such great art of those two characters! You should really consider having some of these drawings on the Animorphs-based Wikipedia articles with no pictures.
Again, thank you for helping to improve my video!

Wow, thanks! Your Drode was pretty good, it had that correct annoying trickster tone to it!
I should really get around to checking out the wiki pages. I've just been so busy with other projects that I had actually forgotten what you had previously said! Sorry about that! It is on my to-do list!

It could just be licensed under Creative Commons or something like that. Wikimedia loves that.
And thank you for the input! I hope to record/read the scenes from Megamorphs #3 that have the Drode soon.

Organic Sauron! Visser Three doesn't seem that scary-just like he smells a rat. I think I can get Marco's mom. the two dudes? Yeah. But what I really think is neat is your interpretation of Drode. Not what I envisioned, but the facial expression is neat.
I wish they would make a manga/anime faithful to the books, including all the gore. Homeward bound + Red dawn + V. Just leave out the stuff that copies other things too closely.

You should consider releasing your art of Crayak under some sort of free (with attribution) license for the [link] Crayak page on Wikipedia. That single orange eyeball there is... lacking.

Some person (hold on, let me research...) , drew and uploaded the main image for the "Furry fandom" article on Wikipedia: [link] under a Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 license.
I sincerely believe that you should upload one or more of your drawings to Animorphs-related Wikipedia articles that don't have official images. Edris 562/Eva already has an "official" image from the TV show, [link] but Crayak and David might benefit from your drawings.
Just something to think about. It would get you more recognition (Creative Commons is very nice), and it would improve Wikipedia. (I expect pageviews to "Animorphs" articles to increase over the next few months now that Scholastic is going to do that re-release thing.)
And your video(s) is/are great too, by the way.

It's easy! Just go to [link] and click on "Entirely my own work". Upload a file of just Crayak cropped (and later on, a cropped David picture if you feel so inclined - that article lacks a picture too) and release it under CC-BY-SA or CC-BY. Then add it to the "Crayak" article on Wikipedia. If Wikipedia user "DeadGuy" can upload a what-the-heck image for this article, you have every right to make your great drawing the main image, and delegate his to a thumbnail lower in the page. This "self-drawn image" thing for Wikipedia articles works even better when no official image or artwork exists of an article's subject. Monster-Man-08, here on DA, should also upload some of his images of the aliens of Animorphs, in my opinion.

Alternatively, I can upload an image (for example, just David) to the Wiki, with your permission. You would just have to "release" this image "under a free license such as the GFDL." Go to this image's properties and change the liscencing (I can never remember how to spell that) to one of the Creative Commons choices.
I really like your David image, and I think it's the best illustration of David anywhere.

David was a punk. I wonder if Rachel actually killed him or left him to live out the rest of his life as a rat.
You could replace Cryak with Sauron and no one would be able to tell the difference... I love LOTR fans (I've heard the K.A. Applegate, herself, is one), but c'mon.
Great Work! %^_^%

With Rachel, I don't think she'd have it in her, towards the end she was progressing to all out psychopathy but I think the incident with David made her realize and pull back

praxcrown5 In reply to Saint-Walker [2010-05-11 23:23:29 +0000 UTC]
You're right, that did seem to snap her back. Perhaps it was just me, but it really seemed as though K.A. Applegate was really, really goind out of her way to make it seem as though Rachel couldn't possibly return to a normal, non-animorph life after the war.
Like she was justifying her death rather than just leave it as: "Rachel was an amazing warrior, Jake chose her for her innate combat ability, and she went out fighting...just like you would expect her to."
Except for the battle on the Blade Ship, the way that she acted towards the end of the series reminded me of X-men 3. The characters were the same, but it was like everyone was hyped up on Testosterone--super, uber agressive to the point that they ceased to be the characters we had come to love and appreciate, and become something completley different.

Thanks!
I do lean towards the thinking that Rachel killed David. All in all, it would of been the kinder thing to do.
My brother took one look at this drawing and immediately thought of LOTR. I assured him that that was entirely the author's intention! I guess she could just about get away with that!

Indeed. Though, I could see her going the other route as well...considering that he tried to murder the others.
She's also lifted some ideas from Star Trek and Babylon 5...but they worked with the world that she created. It's when people lift ideas from existing media and completely butcher and/or bastardize them that I begin harboring resentment.
Ne-who, have a spiffy day, and great job on the villians.

Positive. Rachel's soul has a last conversation with the Ellimist (which is all recorded in the Ellimist Chronicles) before fading away to the next life, while her body is cremated at a state funeral.
It's one of the saddest things I've ever read.
