Another standard issue weapon, The Typhoon (roughly translated) was developed as a solution to the issue of the Subjugator's weight. Whilst an effective rifle it was deemed to cumbersome and bulky for lightly armed support troops and scouts, requiring a lighter, but still significantly powerful carbine to be made. That carbine was the NUZ-34 Typhoon Assault Carbine, and has quickly established itself as a deadly and effective close to mid-range weapon. Wielded by support groups such as engineers and transport crews, as well as being favoured by recon groups and even assassin teams as a lightweight yet powerful rifle, the Typhoon has shown to be proficient at penetrating the toughest body armor at close and mid-range, and doing significant damage to it's wearer.
