Yup,this is needed in starbound. I'd like my floran grey to do a spinning bird kick sword combo and a barrel roll stab.

It's like later in the game they add combos and styles that you can change with the tap of a key.
And when you do it your character says the name of the style that you changed to. Example:
*Changes to a swordmaster* "SWORDMASTER!" *snaps finger*

That is traditional for them, but they are excellent at reverse engineering and using a pistol isn't too hard at all for one given their extreme strength.
