Description
We all have our own unique crayon coloursimple monochrome or vibrant rainbow
some of us bright others duller.
Though deep down inside we all glow.
We all have that potential
to achieve that deep down dream,
no matter how insignificant or essential,
To stand up strong and begin to gleam.
Though we may only be mere insignificant crayons,
made of paper like-clothes, simple dye and chunky wax,
easily showing how we aren't an eternally present canyon,
we can create beautiful art before we become bony sacks.
Though what of those who need different paper to show?
That white crayon who needs black paper to have purpose?
How can they keep going in life to merely begin to grow?
To find that rare piece before their end comes to a close?
Regardless of how things may turn out in a crayon's life,
either it containing beautiful wonders or horrid strife,
one should never lose hope about finding their own place
finding their own paper though it may be at the end of the race.
We all have our own unique crayon colour
simple monochrome or vibrant rainbow
some of us bright others duller.
Though deep down inside we all glow.

I LOVE CRAYONS!
Sorry...just had to let that out
Anyways, this was wonderful, in terms of metaphor and imagery and self-esteem-boosting. My favourite line was when you first mentioned the white crayons>> "That white crayon who needs black paper to have purpose?" My only suggestion is perhaps to have a clearer rhythm? That might just be me though...
This reminded me of a saying I once heard about girls being apples and boys only picking the ones the lower branches while the apples in the top branches are sad they don't get picked but in fact they're like...white crayons.

Same here! I ran out of them... and my colouring books. Kind of upset about that.
Thank you so much and yeah I couldn't find the right words for that line so I just left it alone. Sometimes a disruption of rhythm however can accentuate a line and I hope it did so.
That is so true! I've used that quote before. So lazy boys... tsk tsk. xD

This is an excellent poem. I love the analogy of white crayons requiring black paper. This is going in my favorites.

I absolutely love the quote you mentioned in your description. And I love your poem even more. All of us definitely wait for 'our black piece of paper' in life. Very lovely writing, my dear.

Thanks hah. I really don't try a lot of times since I'm writing from the heart. I don't think that's a good thing though.

Why thank you! It was created on a whim to make my own unique word/username. It's a mix of the word "extraordinary," "and," "zia." Zia was a nickname bestowed upon me when I was little due to my middle name being Elizabeth.

There's a huge bunch of episodes, but don't worry, they're all only five, six minutes long each XD
you can watch the series at animefreak.tv, and part of it (I think) on justdubs.net. The English and Japanese versions are both incredibly funny (the dialogue differs slightly here and there between the dub and sub versions)
by the way, Hetalia Axis Powers is the seasons one and two, and Hetalia World Series is the season three
