Description
It had been a month since Sherlock met the red headed boy that looked eerily like the youngest Holmes boy, and they had already begun to meet most days in the clearing where they met. The smaller red head was very timid as he peered out from behind an old oak, but the slightly taller Sherlock was full of energy as he bounded through the thicket that blocked the clearing from view.“EEERRRRGGGG!” Yelled Sherlock as he charged in with his sword in hand “Put yer hands up, scally-wag!” When nothing happened Sherlock took his hat off and looked around, confused. “Martin? You’re late Martin!”
“I am not!” Martin stepped out from behind the tree.
“Ok, fine you’re not late, but you are scared!”
“I’m not scared!” Martin huffed “But you said we would play aeroplanes today!”
“No we played aeroplanes yesterday!” Whined Sherlock.
“No we did not!” Martin squeaked “We always play pirate and you know it!”
“Well pirates are cooler than aeroplanes anyway.” Sherlock said crossing his arms.
“Aeroplanes are cooler!”
“Pirates!”
“Aeroplanes!”
“Pirates!”
“Aeroplanes!”
Sherlock and Martin frowned at each other for a long moment, before Martin grinned sheepishly.
“What’s so funny!” Sherlock yelled out.
“How about we play pirates on an aeroplane!”
“That’s stupid.” Sherlock grabbed his sword and stomped out of the clearing leaving Martin alone in the grass.
Martin sat down on his designated ‘Captain’s seat’, which was, in reality, a rock; and half-heartily began to take off in search for bluer skies, when an attempt at a gruff pirate voice came up behind him and said “Give me all of yer dabloons and peanut packets!”
