Total re-worked design of Kang the Conqueror for my Alternate Marvel Universe as well as some tweaks to his history & backstory for this alternate universe.

In this Alternate Marvel Universe the man known as Kang is a fortieth century descendant of Victor Von Doom by way of Doom's secret illegitimate son in this alternate universe, Kristoff Zefiro. Kristoff was conceived through Doom’s brief romantic relationship with Valeria Zefiro, daughter of Doom’s loyal adviser, Boris Zefiro, prior to his becoming “Doctor Doom”.

Kang has used his scientific knowledge and technology to conquer Earth as well as various other worlds in his timeline. Initially Kang comes to the present timeline, after he and his scientists perfect an unlimited time travel device, in order to learn first hand of his ancestor Dr. Doom as well as test his might against other powerful beings since he has no challenges or enemies powerful enough to oppose him in his era. Kang’s activities in the present timeline bring him into conflict with the Avengers, who prove themselves to be a match for Kang as they eventually find a way to overcome his advanced technology and send him back to his own timeline.

Once bested by the Avengers in his initial encounter with them, Kang becomes obsessed with defeating them and conquering all time periods to insure his dominance as the “Ultimate Warlord” of known history and beyond leading to his ongoing encounters with the Avengers who have thus far been able to foil his various schemes that he has executed in various timelines.

However Kang’s most recent forays to the present do not focus on his ongoing battles involving the Avengers. Kang has become aware of variants in the time line that threatens his future domination and further time domination goals. The time variants that he has discovered revolve around Apocalypse, whom he discovers has gained world domination in a variant future timeline and seeks to make it a reality in this present time line. Kang can not allow this to happen and now seeks to challenge Apocalypse.

Kang is an expert in almost all fields of science and technology with his primary focus of knowledge devoted to time travel and the manipulation of space-time. Kang has created and mastered a large array of advanced technology to implement his conquest schemes and allow him to hold dominion of the worlds and time lines that he has been able to take control of. He is an expert strategist and a master of various forms of martial arts and hand to hand combat. He is also skilled in the use of multiple types of weapons used for combat purposes.

Kang wears an ultra high-tech suit of body armor which provides him with various offensive and defensive weapons capabilities. The armor also enhances his physical strength, speed, reflexes and agility as well as remote control of the various high-tech, weapons, devices and vehicles he utilizes on his domination campaign. Kang also makes use of a small unit of “Growing Men” stimuloids who act as his shock troops when engaged in full on conquest campaigns.

In this alternate universe, Kang's father has been revealed to be the former time traveling conqueror who took the name Rama Tut, whose own time travel technology is the basis for the devices that allow Apocalypse to time travel. Kang's son from a future timeline, Marcus, follows in his footsteps as the powerful Scarlet Centurion, with his grandson being revealed to be the all powerful and enigmatic master of time known as Immortus.
