Did a different costume color scheme, modified design & addition of cybernetic pincer gauntlets as well as modified stinger on the tail for my take of the Scorpion for my Alternate Marvel Universe.

Mac Gargan in this alternate universe is a petty criminal who volunteers to undergo genetic alteration by scientist Farley Stillwell, a genetics expert considered too extreme even by Norman Osborn, but whom J. Jonah Jameson had no problem paying in order to create a superhuman hunter to pit against Spider-Man in his misguided crusade against him. The result is Gargan becoming the Scorpion, who outfitted with a protective armored uniform with cybernetic pincer & stinger tail weapons to round out the superhuman enhancements he receives in order to be an effective predator to Spider-Man.

Stillwell’s genetic alterations to Gargan also resulted in his becoming an actual homicidal menace rampaging through the city & killing many innocent bystanders in his pursuit of Spider-Man. He even kills Stillwell when he learns of his attempts to reverse the scorpion genetic alteration that he under went.

Spider-Man was able to defeat the Scorpion in their first encounter and deliver him into the custody of the authorities, but the Scorpion has since been able to escape confinement and challenge Spider-Man as well as other heroes on more than one ocassion.
