Re-worked design of Ultimo for my Alternate Marvel Universe.

Ultimo is still an alien doomsday weapon of unknown alien origin in this alternate Marvel Universe who crashed landed on Earth thousands of years ago in the arctic waste of what is now Alaska and remained deactivated & buried until modern times when mind controlled operatives of the Controller accidentally discovered him in a routine search for artifacts or weapons to aid the Controller in his goals. The Controller used his technical knowledge to reprogram & reactivate the giant humanoid to be used as a weapon in his attempts at world domination.

Ultimo was defeated by the combined efforts of Iron Man, War Machine, The Guardsman & S.H.I.E.L.D.’s technical division.

The Controller would upgrade his cybernetic exo-armor and mind control tech to allow for full mental interface with Ultimo's cyber brain effectively allowing the Controller to become Ultimo. The new mental interface control also unlocked previously unknown levels of destructive power and weapons for Ultimo. However the longer the Controller remained interfaced to Ultimo, the more Ultimo's original alien programming began to imprint itself upon the brain of the Controller essentially leading to the Controller believing he himself was indeed Ultimo. The new Controller/Ultimo's destructive rampage would lead to a confrontation with not only his nemesis Ms. Marvel, but the heirs of Mar-Vell, the Crusader and Quasar, as well as Ms. Marvel's new protege, military scientist Monica Rambeau in her reverse engineered Kree battle armored identity of the Sentry.

S.H.I.E.L.D. currently has custody of Ultimo’s once again deactivated form in a special containment facility, fearing that his original alien directive could possibly reassert itself making Ultimo an even big threat to humanity than it was under the control of the Controller.
