Redesigned Garth's design as well as reworked his backstory for my Elseworld Universe.

The Garth of this Elseworld Universe is the son of the ruling nobles of mystic Atlantean city state of Thierna Na Oge, who is an extremely powerful master of hydromantic (water manipulation) mystic abilities among the mystic Atlantean community (which is how he earned his alternate name of “Tempest”) and serves as the chief adviser on all things mystical to King Arturr. Garth also served as mentor to a young Kaldur' Ahm helping him to master his own water manipulation abilities when he came to be a ward to the Atlantean royal family.

Garth became a prominent participant in Atlantean affairs as a teenager when he helped King Arttur and High Councilor Vulko against Lord Arram after he had kidnapped and transformed Vulko's granddaughter, Tula into a living weapon in order to use her as a means to hurt Arttur and Vulko for playing instrumental parts in ending his undeserved reign of Atlantis. Garth was a childhood friend of Tula s' and their frendship had taken a turn towards romance at the time of Tula's abduction. It was Garth's emotions for Tula that allowed him to tap into his full mystic potential and use it to help to defeat Arram and his revenge plot against his brother and his advisor. Garth would go on to have several other adventures with King Arturr, in defense of Atlantis, earning him the king's trust and friendship thuis leading to his eventual appointment to his current position as Atlantis' chief mystical adviser. Although his proper title is Lord Garth many in Atlantis refer to him as “Master Tempest” due to his signature ability to mystically call forth powerful undersea whirlpool storms.

Garth is married to Tula, who serves as Captain of the Atlantean Honor Guard responsible for the safety and protection of the royal family within and without of Atlantis.
