The photo above is of the same gorgeous girlfriend, at the same great location, and the same time of day, similar pose, similar light... Whats changed?
Canon 40D with a 70-200mm L instead of an Olympus E300 with a 70-300mm Zuiko.

DoF and framing make this for me, the fact that she's looking towards the closer border on the right is something that most photographers wouldn't usually go for (in my opinion at least) but it still works.
Perhaps my only criticism is the blurred out "thing" on the hillside, right above her head. Little distracting.
