Description
This is a pic i captured ages ago. I have been playing around with it and this is what i came up with. I thought i'd share the main parts of the technique i used and see if it helps anyone outThe rose was originally pink and bought from a local florists. I sprayed it with water using a spray bottle and added the larger drop using an old eyedropper bottle. Then i placed it next to a window with a good amount of diffused natural daylight coming through. Finally i used a very makeshift reflector ( tin foil taped to a piece of card
I shot this in raw with a Canon 350d and the "kit" 18-55mm lens. I used lightroom to do the raw conversion and then used a few layers in photoshop to create the ice effect.
As always enjoy

keep trying to figure out what you have by your window.... i can see a square thing and a smaller round thing but no way can i figure out what they are... oh well. leave it to me to pick on the unseeable in something so pretty to look at
i would love to be a fly on the wall at one of your shoots...

lol!
The square thing is a breadboard and the round thing is a plate on the draining board. I'm sure i have just ruined the mystery telling you that too
I dont think you would like to be a fly on the wall on one of my shoots, you wouldn't believe some of the anger and frustration that comes out of some of them! I'm a bit of a control freak and i do tend to throw my toys out of the pram when things aren't going as i have planned

not ruined at all! enhanced maybe... it gives more clarity to the hazy image i have already.
and i totally believe that some things deserve to be smashed. they should have worked in the first place!! and let them be a lesson to those other props and such that are thinking of having their own attitude............(ok, so as long as their easily replaceable. i try real hard to not break expensive things)
you sound like a scorpio.

I'm actually an aquarius, but tbh i dont really believe in all that.
Generally nothing gets broken but there has been the odd thing that has suffered from my wrath
