Emeric looked at the invitation with a bit of skepticism. He never particularly enjoyed these sorts of events. He ran over who he knew would go….Amelia…...Axial if just to protect Zuriel who always showed up to these things…..Mmm that seemed like a lot to him! Angela had urged him to go and get out if the house. Besides work, he had burrowed himself onto his laptop for some intensive research on the rake. She probably figured this was better than him calling her up and screaming that the rake was there…..like the last time he deep delved and it turned out to be a sheet….sigh. He knew he’d be a wreck if he had to go, so he made an executive decision. Why go as himself when he could just go as M0ri. It would be fun to vlog the masquerade, maybe make a video of some masquerade stories to go with it.

It would be easier to be M0ri.
M0ri wasn’t afraid of anyone.
He’d be able to tackle this event like a regular ghost hunt or some exploration of the ruins.
M0ri was not afraid of anything. He would go and have fun, maybe even join in with his friends.
