Ok,sorry for taking so long.
The pose expresses sonic's true personality,because many people who drew him,didn't use the good,flixable sonic attitude.
It's good how you did the lines,however,
The shading wasn't that great compared to the whole drawing,i think it could have used more shades,and also more lightning.
But the thing that is 100/100 in the picture,was the way you painted the BG,it looks very digital and original.Nice fire too,amazing,just amazing.

The drawing wasn't even meant to go as far as I took it. It was just a concept to get a feel of how the body proportions would look like, Sometimes...... most of the time I get carried away and render too early whether its 3D or 2D. But that's what makes it fun in my opinion.

Most of the time ideas come out easier when you do things traditional. If I'm creating concept art I rarely go back or undo, the point is to go out of the box and explore. Thanks

A bit reminded of a couple artists I seen draw more anthro versions of Sonic. The concept art looks great so far, so you should go for trying to further develop and mess with the design to see how it goes. So far pretty cool

He definitely looks more hedgehog-ish. I like how his quills look as though they're flexible, and how he has actual fur on him. His muzzle I especially like.
The ring looks a little odd to me, although I'm not sure that you wanted people to pay attention to that so much as Sonic.
I also really like his shoes and how you added the skin tone to his ankles as well.
Now. He doesn't look as kid-friendly, but maybe that's what you were going for. He looks a littl evil, to be honest. I think it's the eyes; they look very squinty. And I'm not sure how I feel about the darker spots on his muzzle.
Other than that, this is an amazing and well-thought-out design for Sonic. Good job. c:

Thanks, I just went with the idea without looking back much. I wanted to fix or change certain things but I just moved on to the next drawing. I definitely want soft quills that act like hair, but when in the spin position they become hard and sharp.

Thanks, I could have done more to it but I was eperimenting with different ideas so I moved on to another sketch. I'm developing the image planes for the 3-D design now.
