Great work dude! Which software did you use for modelling?

They have a version of maya I believe its called LT. I think you can get a license also if your a student. Check it out it may be worthwhile but try em both. you never know which workflow and interface works for you until you try it.Β

Yeah I agree. I've tried Maya and 3D Studio Max a couple of times already. I love Maya.
Sometimes I think Blender's UX Designers make that software for programmers, because the interface is very complicated. xD

Go where it feels comfortable. I'm glad there is a variety out there. I've experienced forcing myself to learn a program and hating the interface of that program. Its no fun.

That's true. But sometimes we have to work with the tools we can afford. :/
Currently I'm trying to learn Krita which is very similar to Photoshop in many aspects.
But it still is difficult to move on. xD

How is it compared to Gimp? I can't remember if Gimp was free. If your looking for Photoshop Alternatives. Also I heard good things about Affinity.

I used Gimp too little to be able to compare them properly, I think Krita is very similar to Photoshop and has a few of Paint Tool SAI features.
I think it's very good for art digital and drawing. Don't know about photo manipulation, though.
I think Gimp can be better than Krita in that point. I have to test it more.

Cool maybe I'll learn those two programs one day so I can have it on my resume. I really want to check out Affinity.

Yeah, I think ususally open source softwares like Krita and Gimp don't make much difference in a resume.
Companies use to have licenses for paid professional softwares.. But for freelance or personal projects they are a good alternative. ^^

And that's why I refuse to learn blender. I stick with the major packages in 3d animation and modeling.Β

You know what? I really wanted to make some 3D animated assets for my game,
and I can't currently afford softwares like 3D Max and Maya, so I ended trying Blender.
I can't believe it! >.< The weirdest part is that I liked it. I've never went so far
using a 3D software as I went using Blender.
I just modeled, rigged and animated. And it all worked fine in Unity.
I think I'll have to take back what I've said about Blender and apologize to the universe now hahaha
