Description
I wanted to redesign the Power Ranger Red Ranger helmet from the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Its based on a Motocross helmet shape. I wanted it to reflect T-Rex and be obvious about it.Hey Rangers, please support the MMPR Web-series Kickstarter campaign.

Thanks... but I am a freelance artist.... so maybe i'm a hired professional too lol. I know what you mean though. but we do have more freedom to do what we want without someone looking over your shoulder telling you how it should look.

Yeah if I could find a company that does 3D printing I would make all the helmets. But right now I'm working on some other project. I would love to go around wearing something like that.

Indeed. I do like that the eye areas of the helmet are slightly producing, making it look more like an actual dinosaur's head.
I hope you give such treatments to all the Rangers' helmets. I am especially curious about what you'll do with the Blue and Black Rangers' helmets.

Its easy for the green ranger to come out looking like a snake or lizard like in my first attempt. I need to focus on making it like a dragon.

Fun fact, while MMPR was the original series in America, it was not in Japan. In fact, it is known as "super sentai" in Japan and it began in 1975.Β The more you know!

This looks very similar to the Kyoryuger Red helmet.

That's essentially what I thought the helmets were going to look like using this more advanced armored style rather than the more cheaper design with plain mouth plate and yellow teeth that they ended up with. Though I still do love the designs of the rest of the kyoryugers. Grey, Violet, Cyan, Silver, and even Deathryuger looks awesome.

I'm working on the green one at the moment. I'm really a big fan of the shape of the lips being on the helmet, it reminds me of Roman designed armor.

no prob. I was wondering though if you could make a new helmet that combines the looks of Tommy's green dragon ranger helmet with Trent's white drago ranger helmet. by that, I mean use Tommy's helmet for the basis; while using the headrest on Trent's helmet. However, I want the headcrest to go up and towards the back of the helmet.
The visor I want from Connor's helmet, but the teeth I want to be gold instead of silver. And I love the eyebrow ridging you did on your red ranger helmet; so I would like that as well, and the mouthpiece you had on the mmpr fan film blue ranger's helmet as well, but more in the shape of the mouthpieces on the Dino Thunder Rangers' helmets.
Basically, I want Tommy's MMPR green ranger helmet; but done Dino Thunder style. as for the headcrest in the back of the helmet; can you make it so that it looks like the spinal spikes that dinosaurs had?
