This is the Red and Blue Ranger I designed for the MMPR Film. These are from the concept images and they are going to be a lot of changes to the final Ranger look.Related content

These are ranger suit concepts? I would have guessed racing bike track suits.
If the the PowerRanger reboot movie is anything like the Power/Ranger short film. I'm not gonna go see it. That thing is an insult to everything Zordon stands for.

Lets just say, through *several* factors, the SuperMegaForce "grand finale" cocked the hammer, and the first few episodes of DinoCharge pulled the trigger of the gun that killed the franchise for me. As far as I'm concerned, PowerRangers was fine up til the end of SuperSamurai, but MightyMorphin will always be the best! I don't care if it was cheesy, nothing has compared to it since.

Somehow I activated italics and I don't know how to turn it off. I use Maya and Mudbox and photoshop to create characters details and textures.

Started thinking, someone should make Ranger keys of these suits once we see what they all look like. I'd do it myself, but I'm not too skilled with a brush that small.

The keys used by Gokaiger/Super Megaforce Rangers. I've seen a handful of custom keys, a lot of them are pretty good. Just thought it would be neat to see these Rangers as keys.

This looks really cool! At first, I didn't give the project any attention as I typically don't care for fan-made things, later thought, "well, let's see their idea." And I am now awaiting the first episode.

I really don't listen to people that can't bring something to the table. If your going to say something is bad you should be able to elaborate. I think they want it more like the original so I usually tell them go buy season 1-3. Nostalgia plays a huge part in peoples opinion, its funny how most can't even see that.

The original was over-the-top and silly, and that's probably one of the reasons we still like it. But nothing wrong with a darker reimagining, I think. In a way I think this shows creativity. It's not like it's a new concept to take something kid-friendly and make it dark, as long as the core concept is not lost, which in this case is heroes coming in to save the world while working together. Transformers went through that (though there is the argument it goes too far), a lot of superheroes went through that, heck, Ninja Turtles goes back and forth.

Breaking Tradition is a good thing to me, I say if anyone wants it to be like the other seasons of Power Rangers they should go buy and watch that season. Different is what we are going for.

You're welcome. They're just so... professional. The mainstream rangers suffer from the show's production budget. I wish the regular Power Rangers looked as good as yours.
