Number 2 of 5 Metroplex recolours based on/inspired by this page from the More Than Meets The Eye annual by the excellent Guido-[link]
I really love the old '1980's Marvel' style.
The colour scheme of this one leads me to suspect that this Citybot was once from Decepticon held territory. (He couldn't possibly be an actual Decepticon because everyone knows that Decepticon Citybot = Dinosaur!)

I can see this one as the base for the Stunticons, maybe since they have autobot-like alt modes, they hijacked this guy and lobotomized him for their own use ^^

I don't think 5 Cons need a whole city!
Maybe he could be from a part of Cybertron where Mechs traditionally have primitive alt modes? He reminds me Insecticons with this colour scheme, plus an obvious Scorponok feeling. Maybe he would later go on to be painfully reformatted into a Scorpion-City too.

The insecticons could make good use of him in your universe, maybe he could become some form of giant beetle to go agains the Arachnicon's Scorponok.
And about the stunticons, I've always thought Motormaster would like to have more members on his team so he can rule them with his iron fist, think of G1 versions of car-cons from other coninuities, guys like (animated's) Lockdown, (Prime's) KnockOut, and (Movie) Barricade and Sideways. They could be good ideas for recolors when you have more of your car-bots models.

And not forgetting the G2 Stunticons.....My version of their Motormaster, 'Crashtest', couldn't think his way out of a paper bag, so I think Motormaster would take responsibility of those 5 too.
