You know... this is really cool.
because i actually had a customer talking to me at the bar while i made his drink
and i asked him a question about it, because who ever the barista was on POS did NOT mark the cup right, and he replied, "make it how ever you want to make it, in my opinion, your all artists here... and every drink you make is just one new work of art."
(btw, to any Partner that has/had a rough time at their stores, my heart goes out to you.)

I love your stamp. And I am going to use it. Unfortunately, I quit starbucks last tusday due to management. DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU! USE PARTNER CONTACT CENTER! They really will help you. Right now, I am getting the barrment of no rehirement within the company removed.

Definitely agree. The partner contact center is a wonderful resource. Thankfully, we have a great manager, though a couple of the shift supervisors could use a swift kick in the....well, you know

I live in a very small town where ANY work is hard to come by. I am proud that I can be a part of a world-renowned company that is recognized for treating their partners better than most. Not to mention proud of the fact that I can pay my own bills instead of living off the state as so many other people around here do.
I am sorry that MY "damn company" is putting people like you out of business. There is a good point in that statement, however, - that it's NOT my fault. Starbucks is not MY company. It is a publicly owned corporation, and I have nothing to do with it putting people like YOU out of business.
And fYi, I know what a macchiato is. We make them. Regular, Caramel, Maple, or any other flavor that we carry. And if you happen to be referring to our most popular drink (the Caramel Macchiato), it is, indeed, not a true macchiato in any sense. It is nothing more than an upside-down vanilla latte with one pump less vanilla, extra foam, and caramel sauce on top. Yes, we make specialty drinks with funny names, but we also make standard espresso drinks that any *true* barista such as yourself would make. (I am not, nor will I let myself be treated like an idiot just because I work for a company you dislike.)
I do not hate you, just feel a bit sorry for you right now. It's a sad world when a random person attacks you (or the place you work so you can survive) for something as simple as a stamp. I'm sure the founders of dA would be thrilled to know where their hard work has led.
And I, also, mean no harm. I just wish all the drama crap around here would stop. This is about art and fun. Nothing more. Out of the numerous comments and notes I have received about this stamp, and all my other artwork, yours was the first negative response I've ever received on dA. If you don't like my art, me, or where I work, that's your prerogative. But don't bother telling me about it, because honestly, I don't care.
Maybe some good can come out of this, however. Did you know that one coffee tree takes one full year to produce one pound of coffee beans? If you already knew this, then I guess nothing good can come of this. But if you didn't, I guess you learned something from Starbucks today. And learning things is always good.
