I FINALLY got around to doing this
and I hope it helps you guys with your coloring skills, oh and I'm sorry if it's so freakishly huge and makes your computer slow, but it had to be big so you could read it and see all the stepsENJOY!

wooaaaw. thanx. now,i think i get it. um....what kind of pencils do u use? (all i have is crappy crayola ones from a guzillion years ago...) umm...any suggestions? those are the only ones i can afford at the moment, but.....

oh, ok! you must be really good, though. wow. thats awesome! i always thought you had to use totally shwashome ones to get color like that. is it really all about the layering?

yeah, it's pretty much about layering, if you can't do that or value (shading) then colored pencil doesn't look that goodXD

hmm...ok! yeah, i can do shading stuff (you know, dark against light makes the light one "pop" put....or vice versa) an stuff, but i have some issues with over working my stuff. thanx for tha help.....its greatly appreciated.

Very cool, great tut. What brand of CP are you using? I used to use prisma, and like them some still, but for the 'fine art' I use faber castille

I use the finest colored pencils around CRAYOLA XD ok not the best, but they work really well...

i use the same techniqes, but this still helps alot, at least i know i'm doing it right... i redid all my older pics and have been using these techniqes, i have to finish a bunch, and upload them all, .... btw what is a blending marker? it sounds like it might help me out on a few pics i did.

it's just a plain white marker. it has ink in it but it's clear ink, and it's used to blend different colored markers (cuz markers are kinda hard to blend), but I have found that it's really useful for blending colored pencils too

have you ever used watercolored color pencils?
i like them, i sometimes use them with colored pencils, i find it adds a depth to the color that looks real cool!

yeah I've tried watercolor pencils, alot easier to handle than watercolors, but unfortunatly I don't have any so yeah....
