Shot from a AZ ANG KC-135E dragging the Blues to an Airshow at Fargo ND.This was the last year for the Blue Angels in the A-4F.

Ya know, whilst looking ath this the thought struck me, Why do clouds cast shadows but overhead planes don't?
Probably too small.

Thanks! I have seen aircraft I have been in cast a shodow on a thin layer of cloud underneath the acft. That looks really strange!
