F-16C-25-CF, 83-1128 assigned to the 422d Test and Evaluation Squadron, 57th Fighter Weapons Wing, based at Nellis AFB see after painting at Luke AFB in August 1988 for the "A-16 CAS" program.

is it just me or does anyone else prefer the jungle camo over the other new ones? but nice shot! i've never sen F-16's in this camo and also the sabre!

The 'Euro-1" scheme was applied to a few 422TES jets for the "A-16" CAS demonstration to replace the A-10s.Β It did not pan out.
Funny this is that us photographers did not care much for the dark 'Euro-1' scheme because it did not show up well on film unless it was a real sunny day...
