KC-10A-DL, 84-0187 assigned to the 9th ARS, 22 ARW, based at March AFB and seen at Luke AFB in March of 1986.
This was a pretty boring looking jet in the new "Shamu" Scheme!

To us photographers, we really hated the dark schemes unless you could photograph the jets in bright sun either early in the morning or late afternoon. The aircraft looked pretty bad in overcast light.

Saw a pic today of a KC-135 fueling up one of these 'Shamu' KC-10s. Can't find it for the life of me though.
