How any series which brings to life fan art like this can be so underappreciated is beyond me. Gustaff, Servbots, the reaverbot, the ruins--Mega Man Legends rocks!Oh well, if someone's not a fan then it's their own loss.
For those who don't know, Gustaff is the red robot blasting the reaverbot, Habaruru. The setting is the Nakkai Ruins from The Misadventures of Tron Bonne, and of course any piece of artwork for this game should have some Servbots included.
I did this picture for my website, Legends Station,which just turned 4 years old yesterday! [link]
This one ties for my longest time spent on a piece of fan art, approximately 30 hours. Whew, what a job, but well worth the results says I.

HATED those particular reaver bots. Until I got the gatling gun at least.

I'm loving the fact that I still have this game. I use to love going through the ruins and one of my bots would get lost, nothing is cuter than when you go back and find him crying by himself and then when he rejoins you with that little 'Yey!'
But yes this is an amazing piece of fan art, great details and you have the bots doing their usual childish antics in the midst of battle.

Whoa, everything about this is deadly accurate. o_o Robots, background... Even the buster shots are pretty awesome. :0 I don't think I can see a single flaw in this. GREAT job. Seriously.
I love that game, by the way! xD Only rented it though, haven't played in years. I've been trying to track it down recently though... The Nakkai ruins were the really big ones on the far left side of the map, right?

Woah, your effort was wasted. This piece looks amazing, and inspires me to further my search for the game. Out of curiosity, what did you use to make this?

Hopefully you meant the effort was NOT wasted. ^_^;
For this piece I made a rough model of the scene in 3D to be sure to get the proportions and perspective right on, then took the 3D render into Corel Draw to trace the outlines and get them perfectly smooth, and finally I took it into Photoshop for coloration and shading.

Check out all those intricit lines! Its obvious you put a lot of effort into this, and it turned out great! I love that little due flying in the background, he cracks me up

Awwww, poor servbot! XD;; I love that one flying across the background. This looks really awesome, man!! That background's just soooo accurate and detailed, and so is the reaverbot.. and GUSTAFF!!! I'm loving how you did the 'buster shots' *_* Mmm delicious shots. *kicked*

OMG this is so awesome! I like the the amount of detail in this and looks even better than the official art! =O I never really got around to drawing Megaman Legends fanart yet... T__T
