narrator: the next day, after Scar's departure to the Night Pride as the Tree of Life's temporary king. as Kiume and his Lion Guard were patrolling the Pride Lands, they could hear someone threating.

???: "(imitating Mchawi) hehe, time to gobble you up!"

Kiume: "hey, do you guys hear that?"

Ajabu: "that's odd, it sounds like Mchawi... but she would never eat small animals."

???: "good going, son! i'm impress with what you do."

Nguvu: "i think it's coming from over the bushes."

Kujificha: "let's see who it is."

narrator: so, our heroes checked on the bushes... only to find Tamaa and his son, Msemaji.

Kiume: "guys, it's just Tamma training his son to imitate other animals."

Tamaa: "(notices Kiume and his Guard) oh! greetings, Prince Kiume. it's a honor to meet you."

Kiume: "hey, Tamaa. what are you doing?"

Tamaa: "i'm just helping my son improve his imitating."

Msemaji: "it's getting pretty now. say, what do you think of my imitation of Mchawi?"

Mwalimu: "it's amazing, you sure captured her voice well."

Nzuri: "but then even though her voice can sometimes sound more like Minnie."

Kujificha: "*hits Nzuri right in the head* dude, enough with the pop-culture references already!"

Nzuri: "ok, fine. sheesh!"

Kiume: "hey, have you guys heard what happened?"

Tamaa: "yeah, we heard that Kion was turned into a cub again thanks to one of Mchawi's spell."

Msemaji: "and now Askari, Ahadi and Uru's second born son, will temporarily take Kion's place as the king of the Tree of Life."

Mwalimu: "i wonder how's he doing?"

Kiume: "i'm sure he's going well, i mean Rani is gonna teach him the basics of being in the Night Pride."

narrator: suddenly, Nyoka and Askari's Lion Guard came by.

Kiume: "hey, Nyoka. how did the patrolling go?"

Nyoka: "we saw Jino passing by."

Kubwa: "looks like he wants a rematch with you!"

Kiume: "fantastic! 'cuz my paws could use a workout!"

Upepo: "*grabs Kiume by the tail* hold your zebras, soldier! we're not clearly sure what's Jino up to, we have to spy on him first."

Kiume: "Oh right, how could i forget?"

Ajabu: "let's follow him and see what's that arrogant croc up to."

Tamaa: "good luck, you guys."

Msemaji: "we'll see you all later."

narrator: so our heroes followed Jino to see what he was up to.

Kiume: "what do you guys think he could be up to?"

Ajabu: "well, i did hear rumors about him stealing food for himself and scare small animals like mice, baby birds and others."

Mwalimu: "really?"

Ajabu: "yes, but i've also heard that Jino is known for his brute strength. he took down many other crocs in Mashindanos like Laana did, however, Jino never cheated, not even once."

Mstari: "how strong is Jino?"

Ajabu: "Jino is a strongest as an elephant, he could take down a rhino with just one blow."

Nyoka: "yikes, that sounds bad."

Ajabu: "but Jino's strength is nothing compared to Kubwa's muscular build."

Kubwa: "my muscular build? heheh... i'm flattered."

narrator: but as our heroes were talking, Kiume saw that Jino was gone.

Kiume: "(confused) where'd he go?!"

narrator: Jino then jumped into Kiume, about to scar him."

Kubwa: "Kiume, look out!"

narrator: Kubwa sacrificed himself for Kiume and took the hit as Jino scarred Kubwa in the right eye.

Mrefu: "oh no, Kubwa!"

Jino: "hehehe, me scar big, buff lion badly!"

Kubwa: "y-yeah, but at least you didn't make me blind from the hit."

Mwalimu: "will you be ok?"

Kubwa: "yeah, this scar won't be permanent."

Kiume: "now then, Jino. what's all this food you've been taking?"

Jino: "me need food to improve me strength."

Kiume: "but this food is for EVERYONE in the Pride Lands, not just you."

Nzuri: "yeah, even Makuu and Kiburi need this food!"

Kiume: "and for you to teach that lesson *scars Jino in the left eye*"

Jino: "*growls in pain* grr...."

Kiume: "hope you understand that."

Jino: "this ain't over, Kiume... and i'll be taking this food. *takes all the food and leaves*"

Kiume: "man, talk about being greedy."

Nzuri: "yeah, he somewhat reminds us of Wari-"

Kujificha: "don't even say it!"

Nzuri: "ok, fine. sheesh!"

Kiume: "hey, Kubwa. you're gonna be ok, right?"

Kubwa: "yeah, i'll be fine. besides, i'm loving this cool scar. it makes me look tougher *flexs his muscles*"

Nguvu: "hey, look. Jino left a baobab fruit behind."

Kiume: "wow, you're right. *sniffs* and it doesn't seem to be rotten."

Ajabu: "let's give it to Msemaji and Tamaa."

Kiume: "right."

narrator: so Kiume and his friends went to Tamaa and Msemaji to give them the baobab fruit.

Tamaa: "thanks for the food, Kiume."

Kiume: "you're welcome, Tamaa."

Msemaji: "man, you guys are amazing. too bad i never got to see you unleash the Roar, Kiume."

Kiume: "it's ok, Msemaji. i'll show you it some other time."

Nyoka: "dang, Kiume. that was very cool how you scarred that arrogant croc!"

Kiume: "thanks, emperor Nyoka."

Upepo: "come on, everyone. let's go back to Pride Rock. i'm sure the king has prepared a feast."

narrator: but before they could go, they could hear Rafiki scream in utter horror.

Kiume: Hevi Kabisa, what was that?!"

Mrefu: "that sounded like Rafiki!"

narrator: our heroes rushed to Rafiki's tree to see what it happened."

Kiume: "Rafiki, what happened?!"

Rafiki: "the Dark Amulet, it's gone!"

Kiume, Nyoka and the Lion Guards: "(shocked) WHAT?!?!"
