Description
So you may or not have seen this already over at Red's DA gallery, but I wanted to add it to my gallery nonetheless. It's a piece showing characters of my creation, drawn in chibi style by none other than Jon "Red J" Sommariva. For more information on his and Seed's chibi project, visit his DA page and snoop around a bit (or just check out his second to latest deviation and read the description). This is one of the most unique looking comic styled pieces I've come across. The lighting and shadows are made excellent use of, and the characters are really intruging.

Actually, that background is pretty overpowering... maybe some more cools to push it back in space. But man... you leave for a month, and suddenly I forgot how freakin amazing you were... insane.

I think you pretty much nailed it with the bg. When I started coloring, it was kind of obvious to me that Seed would take the night time route (and Red actually told me he did), so I went for something entirely not "cool". I think in my striving to get the most different possible coloring compared to Seed's I kind of over warmed the background though. I realised this later, but instead of fixing it, I jas added a shitload of fades to seperate the background from the characters... I guess I really am lazy.
