Well well! You may or may not have seen the downright awesome lines to this piece in Chris's gallery by now. Chris offered to do a little art trade in which he would draw one of my characters in his style, and I'd color it in exchange. I'm not really one for art trades, but I couldn't resist, this man's style is just too damn cool to pass up. So he drew Bombface, someone who has by now made two appearances in my gallery. And I swear, I'll come up with a decent name for him at some point.Until then, enjoy!

Man, that is straight up badassery. The motion you captured in his clothing wrinkles alone is just...savory. I dig it.

I definitely will not make one, haha. I actually have a similar one which I got at American Apparel, but it's just a yellow track suit basically. The collar is not nearly as gigantic. I don't know if a jacket like this exists anywhere in the real world, but if it does it's probably gonna be intended for women (men get the fucking shaft when it comes to buying clothing...).

man. you DO AMAZING COLORING. What brushes did you use for this?

I think it was the light textured brush from the wet media brushes in Photoshop. Not sure though, it's been a while.

But it seems like you missed to erase some of the fuze-color in the foreground.
Take a look at it. Theres a beige/fawn (?) layer above the pants and his arm.

That's an intentional fade, to seperate the fuse from the character a bit better.

I'd greatly prefer you figured it out yourself. Trust me, it's so much more fulfilling that way. Once you've got it, you'll be so much more proud. Also, if you just draw/color, you're going to naturally progress. Put enough effort into it, and you'll definitely get there.
