Description
8th piece from my horoscope series : Virgo. As I went a bit far with the background in my previous artwork, I realized I needed to keep the composition focused on the character, especially for this sign.As the expression on her face is important, I spent a fair amount of time refining it.
I tweaked her eyes tanks to 's helpful critique. I often draw the left eye bigger than the other.
She also helped me making the background lighter and softer, which makes sense as I used very soft tones on her skin.

Nice job. She looks great. Her head feels maybe a little too big but maybe that's just me.
I feel like Jemaica is influencing you to make eyes bigger and put lots of freckles all over your characters. Soon you'll only start drawing flat chested girls.

Thanks! You might be right about the head. It might be due to the perspective too... I'll give it a try and see if it works better with a smaller head.
I was inspired by Jemaica for the freckles that's for sure! I even used her freckles brush! About the eyes, I don't know, I did paint very big eyes before, like in this one : Swan
Anyways, I had troubles with the cute girls proportions and she definitely helped me with that!

Yeah, back in the days I felt frustrated because it wasn't working as I planned. That's why Swan, as well as this Ozalee looked kinda weird.
But I needed to change, as I wasn't really comfortable with this kind of proportions : Ozalee - pinup 1
I've eventually found a balance between both. The next step, especially with the Arem Befanti project, is to draw several kind of body types while keeping this style consistent.
