Description
This week I had to rewrite a common fairytale, illustrate a scene from it, layout the story as a book, and few more things which I have yet to do! And it's all for tomorrow!Anyways, in my version of Cinderella, Eleanor is a talented chimney sweep. Perhaps I'll post the story if it's short enough and after it's been critiqued and rewritten.
Enjoy!
-Eek it's almost 3am-

What I like best is how their faces are structured. When one thing in a picture can stand out so boldly like that, it deserves recognition.

I love how you presented such a vibrant color scheme here. Really gives it a children's book look to it.

I think you've created an awesome and very convincing sense of light in this piece, so props for that. The way the figures are seated on the roof seems a little awkward to me, like their weight isn't quite plopped down on the shingles enough. At first I thought it was because there wasn't enough of a shadow under them, but now I'm not so sure. I'm also a little unsure about what's going on with his right foot and how it's bent under his left ankle- it doesn't seem to match up with his shin quite right. But I think the decision to add the watercolor texture was a very good one, it adds just the right amount of detail to the emptier spots.

oh i love the idea, Cinderella as a talented chimney sweep would have a lot more charisma i imagine, and the story would gain a lot of charm and "ordinary-world magic", i'd love to read the story so i hope you submit it after it's been critiqued and rewritten
great picture too
makes you want to climb on a rooftop and sit there for a few hours watching evening sky

Anyway, this is perfectly wonderful. I love the watercolor feel.
