Description
As she runs through the wild flowers, different colors bloom into season and a flurry of creatures fly through the air while smelling the warm Summer air. The hills are endless and the blue skies carry songs that the Summer Queen sings of warm weather, bright mornings and starry nights! She sings to the land and it dances for her!--
Hey again! This is the second painting I've done for the Queens of the Seasons! I hope you all enjoy it, I have been gone for awhile but I am ready to get painting again! I enjoyed painting this piece. This one was painted on Arches 12x16 Hot Press Paper with watercolor. I was able to finish it at an art show last week that I helped at. I want to say I spent around 45 - 50 some hours of this painting

Hey Jancola! I do have it larger (and other images) on my etsy shop. I have 8.5"x11" sized prints of this picture. Here is the link to my store if you are interested: [link]

this is how I imagine summer, not sea and sandy beach, but green hills and meadows just like in your painting. ItΒ΄s so beautiful, I canΒ΄t express myself enough.

Hello! I'm making a series of art videos about flowers, and I was wondering if I could include this piece in one of my videos. It would be set to an original classical-style composition (by me) about this flower. I'll be sure to credit you and link to your page if you say yes.

This one is my favorite in your gallery. I love all the tiny details you've painted into this scene. Fabulous job! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you! This is one of my favorites too. I was on something else with this one because I've never come close to the hours I've put into this painting

I can tell that you put a lot of time and effort into this one. It's cool how you've kept the details in the background undefined...as seen through a camera lense, while the forground is very detailed. That's an effect I'm working on in my current artworks.

Thank you! I really try not to do a lot of detail if the background is far off, for that very reason. I can't wait to see the painting you just mentioned

Well I'm not quite sure if there won't be any more snow here in Austria, we have crazy weather sometimes

hehe, too much time on my hands perhaps? I think for every 1 good painting I do, there are 5 in the trash
Thank you for the compliments and the faves! I hope to be painting again soon!

I can't paint with watercolor like you do! I love how the way you paint fits so perfectly with what you paint. The fantasy pictures really go well with your style.

thank you! I love the fantasy and scifi genre
I've been seriously painting in watercolors for a few years, I have no doubt you could be a thousand times better than me by the time you get to my age it just takes practice!

I know! I am very young and not overly experienced, but I really enjoy it and hope to get better. In fact it is hilarious. one time I went to an art meeting with a bunch of middle aged women and was practically entertained the whole time! I am almost certain, though, that I cannot paint very well at all whatsoever with watercolor!

well for your age, you are very good at acrylics and I hope you continue with it!

When I first started painting I worked with oil and I am not exactly sure why I switched to acrylic. I think I just tried acrylic one time and since it dryed faster I found it easier to work with.

I've worked with oils before and they are definitely messier than acrylics.
