Description
On the far meadows of Cair Paravel, Aslan visits with a dear friend on a beatiful Spring dayI finished this painting for my good friend . This was part of my art trade with him and I hope he likes the piece. I spent around 25 - 30 hours on it and the size is 14x20. I used Watercolors and Acrylic on Arches Hot Press paper.
Thanks for looking

You're welcome . Yeah, I'm a fan of the movies and you got a really detailed storybook feel look to it down.

The movies were good. The books are so much better! I would love to illustrate Narnia for my own enjoyment one day

Heh yeah, I definetely want to read the books too. I wanted to say that too, you could definetely do an illustrated version because you give it that amazing storybook kind of feel. I'd probably have to read the whole series to get the full experience but from what I've heard so far, I'm not that crazy about the ending of the seventh book because it sounds kind of sad

It's actually quite happy in the context of the stories. My signature under my comments is the last line of "The Last Battle".

Ah. I'll have to read the stories then . Oh. I didn't see that. Sorry
yeah. I kinda flipped through The Last Battle book and read the plot on Wikipedia so I think I read it out of context because I was kind of saddened when I did X o

Magical. Love the color pallet that brings out an subtle childish feel.

hehe thank you. I appreciate the compliment. I find 30 hours to be a good amount of time spent on a painting. Usually if I go longer the painting starts becoming muddy
