A fan asked that I make a sketchdump of some of the concept work I've done for the BBA. Most (actually, all) of these drawings were done while I was musing about story details discussed with Kay or just experimenting on my own with silly ideas. Some of these characters haven't been introduced yet, others you'll recognize pretty quickly.You'll notice Warbound is WAY different than he is now (both Kay and I were having fun figuring out what Lani and Lutec's parents should look like), the old dog is still in the conceptual stage but even he's been transformed quite a bit. The only one that really hasn't changed much is Ajila, aka Fairstep. Her soft, chubby design appealed to both Kay and me so much that she's barely changed at all.

Yuff kinda reminds me of Ed from the Lion King. Just the way he acts y'know. I luv teh yotes. I'm attempting to come up with a yote fursona. Emphasis on attempting. I need to find some good color and anatomy references. All the canids I draw tend to look the same. I love the comic, keep up the good work!

I laughed out lou when I saw Yuff.
Right by my house is this canyon. Theres tons of wildlife, including Coyotes. Sometimes during the night I hear them, and theres one that looks a bit like Yuff.

Rapier looks so much bulkier then when she was younger.
I've seen that old character in the first concept dump.
I like him better this way,rather then him being blue.I'm guessing that he trained Rhinjin how to fight,just 'cause in the last concept dump in the left corner he was doing some karate moves xD

Wow,the wolf for the Inairian myth looks really cool.I think that the myth has something to do with him being the first Blackblood or something,I dunno xD
Fairstep is so pretty,she looks so mch like Riptide!(No duh)
I'm guessing that she was Swiftkill's mother's sister,instead of Banehallow's.

4) I liked this color scheme, but Kay noted that brown, black and tan was already Blade's theme, so she had to come up with something different. So long as there was reddish-brown in there, I was happy (and i am).
