as a european, trust me, Swedish and finish is not the way to go, but If you insist, go with Swedish since most of finland learns Swedish as a second language

if you already knows french you are pretty much saved in europe, since its mostly the only country (except iceland) that refuses learning any more languages to their children until they are 18 and understand the consequences and benefits of learning more languages

Not as much work as you'd think, at least not for me. Each took maybe 10 min max? I couldn't spend more than that without impacting my job, so I had to make it fast and dirty. Then again I'm used to drawing fast, dirty, and boarding ideas out quick, so what's simpler for me might be tougher for someone else.
But when you give yourself a maximum time to complete something, it helps speed things along. The whole idea was to produce something substantial in just a day for personal practice. I think it succeeded. I did enjoy it and it was very inspiring!

I would suggest watching movies yes. I learned some japanese from watching anime, and I became a straight a student in english from only watching american movies and british tv shows.

I think my favorite is when your doggu spazzes out. Used to love that when I had dogs, haha.
I guess anyone who can actually manage to make a decent comic for each hour for twenty-four hours straight must be really good at managing time and energy. Or just not have much of a life. :U
