Description
This was the first 3D-model I ever worked on, but it got delayed due to me not knowing the proper workflow and thus running into some issues. There are still some flaws, but they are mainly visible on the model itself, it won't affect printing at all. First pose is supposed to be a stalking/slow running motion, thus the crouching posture.© Fabrizio De Rossi, 2014, still in progress

You're welcome. I know it took me almost forever to create my first 3D model , which can also be animated. After modelling some other dinosaur species I could learn a bit more and establish a workflow for myself.

Oh my gosh...this is too awesome. The anatomy is so spectacularly perfect. Nice to see a theropod model with lips, those are so rare! And the fingers being held curled in slightly, as opposed to straight out...which IMO is more natural, and at the very least, in a paper by Senter and Robins, 2005, said that the first claw of Allosaurus was permanently flexed. Were you aware of this paper, or was it coincidence? Man...I wish there were more accurate models like this. The texture of the skin is so great too...I love the scutes, and all of the little wrinkles... 
Major kudos, and can't wait to see more of these models.

I have never worked with Maya and don't know any tutorials about it, sadly. I'm sure there are some around, though.
