Ah... this is a snippet of the painting that I am currently working on... It's acrylic, and it is my daughter Rebecca... That friggen cap gave me so much grief, but happy to say that I've just about got it! I'm anxious to get it completed as I will be showing it in an exhibit this upcoming Canada Day!! Very happy about that
I thrive on detail!!

This is stunning! How did you paint the cap so well?! It looks exactly like it would be knitted in real life! I tried to paint the same material, but as a sweater, and it just did not turn out right.

Thanks! Lots of blood, sweat and tears went into that cap!! heheheh... Seriously, it was quite the challenge to paint, when oddly enough I also painted a knitted scarf around her neck - which I didn't suffer through as much - go figure?! Will post final hopefully this weekend

Thanks! Ya, it's kind of cool like that, isn't it... but there is so much more to this one!! She's got a knitted scarf, as well as a patterned jacket on - I was soaking in detail on this one! Will post as soon as I finish up her hair
