Description EDIT: DOWNLOAD for larger view! Sorry about that!

Did these individually, but decided to amalgamate for uploading.

The idea is that there's this hilariously lopsided little trio of adventurers - three gals, two of whom are front-line fighters, the other being a healer who can take a punch, but has not much other magic. (I was thinking in terms of DnD at the time, so they would be a fighter, barbarian and a cleric, roughly.) Take a guess as to which is which, lol!

They're moderately competent in their own right, but don't have a lot to show for it. Then one day, when searching an old crypt, they stumble across a powerfully charged artifact. (OH THE CLICHE!) Being relatively unversed in arcane knowledge, the three decide to try to carry it out for later examination/sales...but as soon as they touch it, energy arcs into their bodies and causes them to grow much taller and larger, according to their previous build.

BUT! It's not done yet...I have some framework personalities in place, but I need to decide on decent names, for one thing. But for another thing...they need clothes. And I'm terrible with deciding outfits. So, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas - I'll slap on SOMETHING no matter what, but advice would be appreciated. It would also be nice to hear what's good and not-so-good with the characters as they are at this point - such as whether you like the pre-growth facial features more, etc. (I'm horribly inconsistent, but knowing what works is still good.) Also I need to add real hands, lol.

I'll do individual character commentary when it's done. If I get really ambitious, I'll do up a short little comic. Oh, and the third gal is holding a hammer, in theory...it got clipped.

EDIT: Moved to scraps.

These look interesting. I'm quite fascinated with high fantasy. Not sure what the difference between fighter and barbarian is. I got the two ladies mixed up, since I thought barbarian would be more raw power. Anyhoo, the cleric lady looks like a revealing robe would fit her nicely; the barbarian looks agile, so perhaps light (leather?) armour; and fighter can go heavy steel armor. Revealing, of course. Would be a waste of those physiques otherwise.

Ah. The Barbarian is usually defined by some of these traits:
1) They are typically more "tribal" than other characters.
2) The trademark "barbarian rage." The user enters a feral, adrenaline-fueled state wherein their strength increases and they become highly resistant to pain. However, they also lose some of their ability for clear thinking, and tend to become reckless. After they calm down, the user is usually exhausted. If you're familiar with Viking berserkers, it's a bit like that.
3) There is generally more emphasis on personal prowess & strength over equipment or technique. So, in general, you would be correct that the barbarian would be more raw power. I kind of wanted to flip that stereotype in this case, and make her more of the level-headed, down-to-earth person in day-to-day activities (and the fighter being a more boisterous, outgoing type.) For humor's sake, but also because it puts a plot device in my pocket. And also, being some subspecies of Elf would generally give her a slimmer physique.

Thanks so much for the feedback! It gets lonely here on occasion. I'll get some armor sets running through my head, and from there to paper.

thanks for the clarification. I've read about beserkers. She does look more refined. Perhaps her outfit can be more tribal to make up for that.

Apart from my usual slackness with checking dA, I'm also in the middle of moving house, and the new house won't have internet until next month. So I'm sorry if my communications might be even more intermittent than usual.

I enjoy the thoughts that you put into your work, so please keep at it!

Ah yes, I remember you had mentioned that. I forgot to ask, where exactly are you moving to this time around?

I'm currently staying at my aunty's apartment in the city area. Our house out in the suburbs is finished (mostly) and we're in the process of moving into it. There's still lots to do though.
