Angel wasn't sure which she enjoyed more: 'looking' at her friend's face with her fingertips, or having her friend touch her own featureless face in the same way. Either way, it's a 'win- win' situation.

Indeed. Not sure what software you use, but I like to use the iWarp tool in GIMP to fix the shape of such things without having to mess up the texture or shadows.
