this is my favorite of yours, very well done! looks real! I like to imagine her "friend" tricked her. Maybe to get her back for something small like flirting with her crush, or maybe she was getting annoyed with her and didn't want to be friends anymore and figured telling her would be less awkward if she couldn't get upset or respond. Or maybe it was just for a good laugh

I guess it all depends but I imagine not! Not only does she really think her friend looks much prettier this way, but it is much more convenient for her this way! Imagine:
"Since you were flirting with my crush, I think I might start going out with your boyfriend, just so we're even!"
"mmmmf!!"
"Thank you, I knew you would understand! He and I are more compatible anyway! I don't think he likes girls without faces..."
